As paperpony and david jay have posted, the fires in santa barbara are at the forefront of my mind this morning. my friend jim who is at direct relief international had a long night last night dealing with the disaster. my little brother is living in Santa Barbara and sent an email last night reporting that some of his friends had lost their family homes. my brother moved there this july and this is the second momentous blaze that has swept through the region.
pray for them.
